valentine’s day look
I can’t believe valentine’s day is right around the corner- do you guys like doing something big for valentine’s day or do you like staying in? personally I think of valentines day as just another day— but a nice little day to spoil the person you care about a little extraaaaa. Last year Valentine’s Day fell on Ash Wednesday- so Ben and I just did something small and then went out for a nice din din over the weekend. I’ve already told him we can just order pizza and stay in this year, mainly bc I’m craving a yummy pizzaaaa 🙂
But a nice fancy din din is always nice, but thinking of what to wear is even better in my opinion haha. Most of these pieces that I styled are versatile and can be dressed up or down!
This first dress I bought from Ann Taylor loft with my best friend & I have yet to wear it lol- but it was originally 130$ and I got it for 25$ so I basically stole it lol. (( it actually has little sleeves on it, but I’m not a huge fan of them so I just tucked it under)
If you know me you know how much I love black- so if pink or red is not your color, then you can never go wrong with a LBD! I love the criss cross and high neck with this one! It is so classy- especially when paired with a neutral blazer! If I chose this one I would accessorize with a cute little pink or red statement earring!

Jojo got me this pencil skirt from express & you can’t really tell in the picture — but its leather!!! *all the heart eyes** its so flattering & this little polka dot button down I got from Marshalls a million years ago- but I’ve seen something similar there recently!
I am OBSESSED with this look! this is adorable for valentines day if you live somewhere warmer (I would freeze) But the colors are also perfect for spring/ summer date night! The skirt Jojo also got me from Express & the shirt is Calvin Klein. I would pair this with my Tory Burch Miller sandals or any other kind of sandal!
This is more my speed ( &appropriate) for the weather in New England 🙂 the same Calvin Klein shirt with some ripped Jeans and pumps to dress it up // or you could wear mules or booties to tone it down!
But… if I’m being completely honest- I just really WANT to do a pizza night so I can just wear this and be the comfiest person alive on Valentines day :))))
