motivation monday
happy monday friends! if you guys are following my fitness instagram page @rinna_fit ya know i injured myself last weekend being a washed up athlete. AND if you know my personality, you know how much i love working out and going to the gym. So this little injury of mine has been as much of a physical roadblock as it is a mental roadblock. Now before i come off like a huge baby lol, i’ll explain what happened. Every weekend I play in a field hockey league, and this last Sunday I wiped out and on the way down to the ground, my knee twisted. I’ve never grabbed a body part so quickly in my life, but it instantly hurt and couldn’t put any pressure on it. Fast forward to now, it’s more uncomfortable than painful which i am grateful for. I’m also so grateful that I can put pressure on it and be functional!! I’ve been going to the gym since last sunday and doing everything known to man, besides legs which is killing me because legs is my favorite thing to workout lol.
So for today’s post i found the quote “We Fall. We Break. We Fail. But then, We Rise. We Heal. We Overcome.” and i thought it was such a great quote! not only does it relate to my little mishap but it can relate to everything & it’s a great reminder for all of us, that no matter what obstacle we’re faced with, we will come out even better on the flip side.
