motivation monday!

First little motivation Monday post for you all and this one is about how to stay motivated enough to chase your dreams. (sounds like this is gonna be a daunting post huh) but its not at all.. I pinky promise! 

We all have dreams right? We all have things we want to accomplish, we all have places we want to go, jobs we want to get, cars we want to buy… but how do we get it?

First question I like to ask myself is how badly do I want it? When it came down to the idea of buying my Jeep, the first thing in my mind was how bad do I want it? Considering the answer of that was “I’ve wanted one since I was a little baby freshman in high school…” seems like something I wanted pretty bad (almost 10 years later…) Since I wanted my Jeep for so long, I had this determination deep within me to make sure it happened. I created a vision board so I wouldn’t lose sight of the things I wanted to accomplish by the end of 2017, and guess what was right there- a picture of me and a black 2015 jeep wrangler with the price next to it and how much I needed to save to make it happen. And guys.. guess what happened in August 2017. I went to the Jeep dealership with my dad just to talk to a sales guy… and a brandy new 2017 black 4 door wrangler was just getting taken off the truck and within a couple days that Jeep was mine.

 

If you want it bad enough, you have to find it deep within you to make it happen. I promise, there’s no secret, there’s no book or anything to help you be motivated enough to chase your dreams. There won’t be any shortcuts, and it definitely won’t be easy. But like I said- if you want it bad enough, you’ll do what it takes.
