Holiday Home Tour

It’s December and you know what that means…. CHRISTMAS!! Not like I haven’t been getting ready for it since Halloween…. (lol I’m totally one of those people)

The Christmas bells are ringing in the Emond household and all the decorations are up!! For those of my subscribers who don’t know, my brother goes to Roger Williams University and we were IMpatiently waiting for him to come home so we could put up the tree *hi tan, thanks for coming home today*.  But on Friday, Momma Jo and I went to Home Goods, Tjmax, and Target to do some decoration damage… which we certainly did!

We got decorative pillows, trees, twinkly lights, etc… basically everything in the store 😉 ^ps that pillow in my cart is the CUTEST pillow I’ve ever seen in my life, I honestly might keep it out all year round.

But enough about that pillow… the rest of the house looks just as cute!!!

First of course, is the living room: Our tree goes in the corner of the living room and it is such a perfect spot. I absolutely love when you can see everyone’s trees through the window as you drive by houses.

There is no specific color scheme or theme to the ornaments on our tree- which I personally love! Majority of the ornaments have special meaning to them, our first Christmas ornaments are hung on the tree every year, along with ones we’ve gotten in different places, ornaments representing graduation and sports played. But my favorite ornaments are the ones my Grandpa would get me every year. Since we were babies, my Grandpa would consistently buy us the same type of collectable item; a new Barbie ornament for me, and a Hess Truck for my brother. This will be the 5th Christmas without him, and every year while decorating the tree, these ornaments bring me the same joy and happiness they did when I was a little girl.

Next is the tv stand – aka the Lighthouse Christmas village!! This is my mom’s speciality- and every year it comes out cuter and cuter. One thing you’ll quickly notice is that we have a very beachy themed home, what can I say- we love the beach!!!

The Mantel – these stockings are older than I am, but still in perfect condition, and the stocking holders are from Ann & Hope! I’ll post a closer up picture on my instagram story once this is completed-  I still need to add some garland with the lights!

This is the little shelves next to the mantel and I think it came out so cute this year!! The cute little birds are from Target and they made an appearance with my mom’s favorite Santa’s.

Now for the kitchen!! We got the half flocked trees from Ann & Hope, and they have such cute detailing with the little pine cones, with looks of a ‘dusting of snow’ on them.  There is another birdie from Target, and snowflake garland on the curtains.

& lastly (for now) is the stove! These towels are the CUTEST!! They are Nicole Miller hand towels and they have a little snowy town on them! They match the table runner we got for the island … but that is a work in progress 😉 pictures of that to come later!!

Thank you for coming along on the little holiday decor tour & be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on the other decorations that didn’t make it up today!!

As always,

xo Marinna!!!
