5 winter necessities

raise your hands if you’re ready for summer!!! First of all- can we just talk about the fact that were in a ‘polar vortex’ but secondly, these realfeels of -15 degrees need to disappear (and don’t hate me for this bc I know it’s an unpopular opinion haha) I do wish that if we have to deal with these below freezing temps that it should at least snow so we have something nice to look at!

But while we’re all freezing I figured it was important to put together my top 5 winter necessities, (real note: I had to find a place to shoot these pics that showed how cold it actually was – wouldn’t of been so difficult if I had some snow to work with Mother Nature! Lol)

first is what I like to call, ‘my puff daddy’ this thing keeps me so warm, it’s honestly feels like I’m wearing a down blanket whenever i put it on. I got it for a birthday present 2 years ago and it still is in perfect condition. The brand is Marmot- such good quality for not a crazy amount of money! 

Second necessity is these Sorel Boots, these are normally pricey but when they go on sale, they go on sale! Normally 190$ I got these on Black Friday for (drum roll please) 70$ with shipping!! Best purchase known to man, and even though they have yet to see a lot of snow- but they keep my feet so toasty warm. 

The next three could be considered life necessities- but a good pair of leggings are crucial during the winter months, and saves you the nightmare of trying to tuck jeans into a pair of boots! (mine are lululemon aligns)

A cozy oversized sweater- I love this one because it covers my bum so I am able to wear it to work with a pair of leggings on an especially cold day like today! I got this one at Tjmax

And lastly – a pom beanie! I have so many beanies, but this one is hands down my favorite. Its from Carrie Underwood’s workout brand Calia, and it’s a velvet material so its so soft and keeps my head and my ears so warm. And not to mention its adorable (thank you tan for the Christmas present !!)
