2020- The Year Where We All Should Support Small Business

Happy small business Saturday!! I know 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone so far, but for a second imagine the struggle of owning a small business during a global pandemic. Going through shut downs, pauses, and having to close doors while still paying rent & bills- I cannot even imagine. So that’s why, this year 98% of my holiday shopping is coming from small businesses. I also started my own small business this year but don’t worry I wont spend this whole post only sharing my business. I have rounded up some of my favorite local small businesses, etsy shops, instagram sellers, little shops around town + some ‘bigger’ small businesses that I frequently buy from. I will also share some Black owned businesses that I can’t wait to support during this holiday season.

I will mention- a lot of these shops are selling items that are handmade which take a lot of time to create- so be mindful when you’re shopping and supporting small businesses in order to receive items before the holidays.
